The Centre for Civil Society and Governance (CCSG) of The University of Hong Kong is organizing an E-launch for the action research project “Partnership for Sustainability Leadership in Business (PSLB)” on November 6, 2020 (Friday). PSLB is a 4-year action research project which aims to develop, enhance, and leverage close collaborations between big corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for expanding the business sector’s contribution to the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). The Project is supported by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC), with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) and Business Environment Council (BEC) serving as project collaborators. Major components of the Project include an online “Knowledge Inventory” and a “Collaborative Leadership Scheme”, which seek to provide knowledge support and networking opportunities for SMEs to develop and enhance their Sustainable Value Chains.
During the E-launch, four sustainable business leaders from SMEs will share their views on the topic “Thriving with a Sustainability Mindset in the Midst of Pandemic”, along with a video featuring nine distinguished guests’ wisdom on "Partnership for Sustainability Leadership in Business: The Creation of Sustainable Value Chains".
